I have a new obsession with making wreaths for my each holiday and season for my home. I find most of my supplies at the Dollar Tree, all for just a dollar each. Every summer, I decorate my living room with red, white, and blue lights from Memorial Day through Labor Day. This year I decided to add to my patriotic décor by creating a few red, white, and blue wreaths. Most recently I made a spectacularly patriotic wreath using plastic table cloths.
Materials
- Foam wreath
- Red plastic table cloth
- Blue with white and red stars table cloth
- Glitter red, white, and blue table scatter
- Blue yarn
- Scissors
- Hot glue
Instructions
- Cut the table cloths into 8 inch by 1 inch strips.
- Tie the table cloth strips around the foam wreath, alternating the red with the blue. Push the strips closely together.
- After coving the foam with the strips, tie a piece of blue yarn around the top and knot.
- Use the hot glue to secure the yarn hanger to the back of the wreath.
- Glue the table scatter around the front of the wreath.
- Display the Fourth of July wreath.
