Tablecloth Strip Thanksgiving Wreath Craft

Tablecloth Strip Thanksgiving Wreath Craft

The Thanksgiving season is upon us! While I have put up many of my Christmas decorations already, I refuse to leave poor Thanksgiving out in the cold. I thus also decorate my home with red, orange, yellow, and brown and many turkeys. Last year I created two Thanksgiving wreaths using red, orange, and yellow plastic tablecloths and some foam Thanksgiving stickers that I purchased from Hobby Lobby. I saved one for myself and gave the second to my mom.

Materials

Instructions

  1. Cut the table cloths into 8 inch by 1 inch strips.
  2. Tie the table cloth strips around the foam wreath with the knot on the outside of the wreath. Push the strips closely together.
  3. After covering the foam with the tablecloth strips, tie a piece of brown ribbon around the top and knot.
  4. Use the hot glue to secure the ribbon hanger to the back of the wreath.
  5. Circle a line of hot glue around the back knots of the wreath to make the tablecloth ribbons stick up better.
  6. Glue the foam Thanksgiving stickers around the front of the wreath.
  7. Display the Thanksgiving wreath.
