Storyline
When every fish stick in town mysteriously vanishes, young superhero StarBeam springs into action to solve the case. Her investigation leads her to Captain Fishbeard, a greedy character who has hoarded all the fish sticks for himself. The captain refuses to share his enormous stash, insisting that he deserves to keep everything he's taken.
StarBeam must find a way to help Captain Fishbeard understand that sharing is more rewarding than selfishness. Through her patient approach and superhero problem-solving, she works to teach the captain about the importance of thinking about others and being polite when asking for things. By the episode's conclusion, the fish sticks are returned to the community, and Captain Fishbeard learns a valuable lesson about generosity and consideration for his neighbors.
What kids learn

Young viewers discover that doing the right thing, even when it means giving up something you want to keep for yourself, ultimately makes life better for everyone, including the person who chooses to share.
