On the second day of Christmas, my true love gave to me two turtle doves and a partridge in a pear tree. For the second day of Christmas this year, my daughter and I made two simple but pretty turtle doves to hang on our Christmas tree.
Materials
- Blue, brown, and orange construction paper
- Scissors
- Glue
Instructions
- Cut two large and two small circles from the blue construction paper.
- Cut two medium circles, two triangles, and four tiny circles from the brown construction paper.
- Cut two tiny triangles from the orange construction paper.
- Fold the large blue circles, medium brown circles, and brown triangles in half.
- Glue the medium brown circles on the large blue circles.
- Glue the brown triangles under the large blue circles with the pointed end facing in.
- Glue a tiny brown circle on each side of the small blue circle.
- Glue the tiny orange triangle on the edge of the small blue circle with the pointed end facing out.
- Glue the small blue circle on the large blue circle opposite the brown triangle.
- Display the two turtle doves.
