Whipped Pumpkin Recipe

Whipped Pumpkin Recipe

My kids and I absolutely love pumpkin. With cool fall weather finally here, I have been serving a lot of pumpkin dishes during meals. I recently made a simple whipped pumpkin using cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg. My daughter devoured the dish and even asked me to make some for Thanksgiving. I happily obliged and have added my new whipped pumpkin recipe to my Thanksgiving Day menu.

Ingredients

  • 29 ounces of pumpkin puree
  • 1/2 cup of heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon of cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon of nutmeg

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°.
  2. Combine the pumpkin, cream, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
  3. Fold the ingredients together.
  4. Pour the pumpkin mixture into a glass dish.
  5. Heat the pumpkin mixture in the oven for 35 minutes or until hot.
  6. Serve the whipped pumpkin hot.
  7. Refrigerate any uneaten whipped pumpkin.
