A TikTok video shared by @tayesfultalks, said a gas station mix-up over an empty car seat has now turned into a legal dispute and she is heading into a video meeting with her employer and an attorney to sort it out.
The woman, who shared her story in a video update, said the incident happened nearly three weeks ago. Another woman saw a car seat in her vehicle, assumed a child had been left inside and called police. The child was not in the car. It was only the seat.
She said she posted two videos about the experience and then moved on. “If you go and look at my content, you’ll see I ain’t saying anything else about it,” she added.
Why Woman Received Cease-and-Desist Letter After Police Being Called on Her

Her silence did not last long. The woman said she recently received a cease-and-desist letter from the person who called the police. She said she never named the woman, the gas station or the type of car involved in either video.
After receiving the letter, the creator said she called her manager for advice. The manager called back the next morning and told her to get dressed for a meeting. It would be held over Zoom because the other woman’s manager was out sick and an attorney would take part.
The meeting is also expected to address an alleged physical altercation, which the creator said she knows nothing about. She said her manager questioned the claim, pointing out that her car was at the pump while the other woman’s was parked at the front of the station.
Why She Filed A Report

The creator said many followers urged her to file a police report after the encounter. She was reluctant but did it anyway. “I’m glad I did, because if I’m being honest, this probably wouldn’t have worked out in my favor if I didn’t,” she said.
She added that she has not seen the other woman at work, and believes she may be parking elsewhere to avoid her.

With the meeting set to begin within the hour, the creator said she was unsure whether she would post a follow-up. “Who knows, maybe I’ll go into that meeting and they tell me to shut up or I’m going to jail,” she said.
She closed the video with a frustrated message about the experience. “I hate people, I really do,” she said, “especially people who just thrive on making Black people’s lives miserable.”
