Christmas time is here! Time to deck the halls! For each holiday and season of the year, I hang handmade wreaths on my doors and sometimes throughout my house. I have been absolutely obsessed with making wreaths for the past few months. Once Christmas décor arrived at the dollar store, I immediately stocked up on craft supplies. For Christmas, I picked up some red, green, and silver deco mesh. One fun part about working with mesh and ribbon is that you can make your wreath as puffy and large as you desire. I also added some foam glitter Christmas stickers and little jingle bells to my wreath as decorations.
Materials
- Wire wreath
- Red, green, and silver deco mesh
- Red, green, and white pipe cleaners
- Foam glitter Christmas stickers
- Small jingle bells
- Scissors
- Hot glue
Instructions
- Cut the pipe cleaners into 2-inch pieces.
- Form a loop at one end of the red deco mesh roll.
- Secure the loop to the outside of the wire wreath with a red pipe cleaner.
- Continue securing loops around the outside edge of the wreath.
- Repeat with the green deco mesh around the middle of the wreath and silver deco mesh around the inside of the wreath.
- Fluff up the loops.
- Use hot glue to decorate the wreath with the foam glitter stickers and jingle bells.
- Display the deco mesh Christmas wreath.
