Thanksgiving is one of my favorite times of the year! My kids and I are hard at work making turkey crafts to hang around our home. I also love making wreaths to hang around my house. For a recent Thanksgiving craft, my kids and I made turkey wreaths using paper plates, construction paper, brown inkers, and wiggle eyes.
Materials
- White paper plates
- Brown Dauber Dawg
- Brown, red, orange, and yellow construction paper
- Wiggle eyes
- Scissors
- Stapler
- Glue
Instructions
- Cut the center from the paper plate.
- Use the brown Dauber Dawg to color the paper plate ring.
- Cut the red, orange, and yellow construction paper into strips.
- Cut a circle from the brown paper.
- Cut a diamond from the orange paper.
- Cut an S from the red paper.
- Fold the orange diamond in half.
- Glue two wiggle eyes, a folded orange diamond, and red S on the brown circle.
- Bend the paper strips in half and staple the bent strips around the top of the paper plate.
- Glue the head on the bottom of the turkey.
- Display the turkey paper plate wreath craft.
