Storyline

When the fire moon rises, the Croods insist on leaving offerings to ward off bad luck, a tradition Phil and Guy dismiss as superstition. Determined to prove that the ritual has no real power, Phil and Guy convince the family to skip the offerings this time. Almost immediately, a cascade of mishaps begins to plague the group, from minor accidents to more serious setbacks that seem to confirm the Croods' warnings about angering the fire moon.
