C is for camel! Help your toddler learn about the letter C by making a fun camel handprint craft.
Materials
- Brown and white nontoxic paint
- Blank paper
- Paper plate or scrap cardboard
- Cotton ball
- Cotton swab or paintbrush
Instructions
- Pour some brown paint onto the cardboard.
- Use a cotton ball to spread a thin layer of brown paint on your child’s hand.
- Press the brown handprint with the fingers open into the center of the paper.
- Wash the paint off your child’s hand.
- Use a cotton ball to spread a thin layer of brown paint on your child’s palm.
- Press the brown palm print above the palm of the first handprint.
- Wash the paint off your child’s palm.
- Use a paintbrush to paint a tail extending from the handprint opposite the thumb.
- Pour some white paint onto the cardboard.
- Use a paintbrush to paint a white eye in the center of the thumb.
- Use a paintbrush to paint “C is for camel” in brown on the paper.
