C Is for Camel Handprint Craft

C is for camel! Help your toddler learn about the letter C by making a fun camel handprint craft.

Materials

  • Brown and white nontoxic paint
  • Blank paper
  • Paper plate or scrap cardboard
  • Cotton ball
  • Cotton swab or paintbrush

Instructions

  1. Pour some brown paint onto the cardboard.
  2. Use a cotton ball to spread a thin layer of brown paint on your child’s hand.
  3. Press the brown handprint with the fingers open into the center of the paper.
  4. Wash the paint off your child’s hand.
  5. Use a cotton ball to spread a thin layer of brown paint on your child’s palm.
  6. Press the brown palm print above the palm of the first handprint.
  7. Wash the paint off your child’s palm.
  8. Use a paintbrush to paint a tail extending from the handprint opposite the thumb.
  9. Pour some white paint onto the cardboard.
  10. Use a paintbrush to paint a white eye in the center of the thumb.
  11. Use a paintbrush to paint “C is for camel” in brown on the paper.
