Pumpkin Craft Roundup

Autumn is my favorite time of the year! I love the crisp, cool weather and all the fantastic fruits that are ready for the picking. In addition to apples, my kids and I love pumpkins. What better way to celebrate the start of autumn than with some fall pumpkin crafts!

Toddler Pumpkin Halloween Costume

My daughter wanted to be a pumpkin for her third Halloween. After quite a bit of thought and consideration, I decided that the best and easiest route for making a pumpkin costume for my toddler involved footed pajamas. I found some orange fleece foot pajamas that would keep my daughter toasty warm on a cold Halloween. I also ordered a cozy green fleece hat. Using black felt and my sewing skills, I then attached a Jack o’ lantern face to the front of the pajamas to make an adorable Toddler Pumpkin Halloween Costume.

For a recent homeschool lesson, my kids and I made a Pony Bead Pumpkin Craft using pipe cleaners and pony beads. My kindergartener made hers all by herself while my toddler practiced his fine motor skills by helping me thread the small beads on the ends of the pipe cleaners.
