S Is for Spider Halloween Paper Plate Craft

S is for spider! Make a spider craft to help your preschooler learn about the letter Ss and celebrate Halloween using paper plates, dot markers, yarn, pipe cleaners, and wiggle eyes.

Materials

Instructions

  1. Use a dot marker to color the top of a paper plate a single color.
  2. Cut 1-inch slits around the edge of the colored paper plate.
  3. Tape a piece of yarn to the back of the plate.
  4. Weave the yarn through the slits.
  5. Tape the other end of the yarn to the back of the plate.
  6. Cut four pipe cleaners in half.
  7. Tape four pipe cleaner halves to both sides of the back of the plater.
  8. Glue the colored paper plate on top of another white paper plate.
  9. Glue wiggle eyes to the top of the colored paper plate.
  10. Display the S Is for Spider Halloween paper plate craft.
