V Is for Vulture Handprint Craft

V is for vulture! Help your toddler learn about the letter V by making a fun vulture handprint craft.

Materials

Instructions

Pour some black paint onto the cardboard.
Use a cotton ball to spread a thin layer of black paint on your child’s hand.
Press a handprint into the center of the page with the fingers pointing down at an angle
Wash the paint off your child’s hand.
Pour some red paint onto the cardboard.
Use a cotton ball to spread a thin layer of red paint on your child’s palm.
Press the red palm print onto the paper at the palm of the red handprint.
Wash the paint off your child’s hand.
Use a cotton ball to spread a thin layer of red paint on your child’s finger.
Press the fingerprint onto the red palm print.
Wash the paint off your child’s finger.
Pour some white paint onto the cardboard.
Use a cotton ball to spread a thin layer of white paint onto your child’s finger tip.
Press three white fingertip prints onto the space at which the black handprint meets the red palm print. Reapply the paint as needed.
Wash the paint off your child’s finger.
Use a paintbrush to paint a black eye in the center of the red palm print.
Use a paintbrush to paint “V is for vulture” in red on the paper.
